ImagePerfect™ 2574 Reflective Film
ImagePerfect™ 2574 is a printable engineering grade reflective film, with a high level of retroreflection for use in vehicle marking, industrial safety signs and marketings, identfication markings, warning labels, architectural applications and much more.
The IP 2574 has been specially created for digital printing on large-format inkjet printers and is suitable for printing with eco solvent, solvent, UV-cured and latex inks.
The product can be used for indoor and outdoor applications conforming to flat and slightly curved (nothing concave) surfaces, such as glass, ABS plastic, vehicles, etc.
Please note: The product does not conform to BS EN 12899-1: 2007 and as such it cannot be used for regulated traffic signage and it does not conform to the EC104 regulations.

ImagePerfect™ 2574 can be kiss cut and die cut on almost any plotter. A 60° tangential blade should be used. A 60° swivel blade can be subsituted for simple shapes. Plotter speed should be slowed to a minimum. Small shapes may be difficult to weed; the user to determine sizes appropriate to the design of the graphic.
The reflectivity level has been measured at 80 Cd/Lx/m² (tested at an entrance angle of -4° and an observation angle of 0.2°).
Please make sure the printed IP 2574 is completely dry before further processing. Before the IP 2574 is applied, the surface should be completely cleaned.
The use of IP surface cleaner (MIP1000) and the lint-free, IP surface cleaning cloths (MMS8373) is a good match component cleaning solution to ensure that the surface is dry and free of dust and grease.
Due to the numerous factors associated with the manufacturing and handling of the product and the physical properties of the surface, we would recommend a test to confirm the suitability between media, printer/ink and surface before full application takes place.
Do not apply this product on low surface energy surfaces or on flexible, irregular or compound curved substrates.
