3M™ Knifeless Tape is a tape with an inserted “carbon fibre“ for the back cutting of applied films on very sensitive surfaces.
Knifeless Tape is a technically updated and advanced version of the original Knifeless Tape.
The self adhesive Knifeless Tape offers a new translucent bond which is clear enough to show the filament below the tape. It follows contours and turns easily in any direction to allow for the perfect knife-less cutting of customized striping and design applications.
It is ideal for many complex shapes and irregular surfaces and resists lifting around corners or in depressed areas. The smooth backing allows repositioning of vinyl film without the tape lifting.
Knifeless Tape will withstand heating up to 100°C. Excellent performance at higher temperatures may be obtained, depending upon the total time, temperature, surfaces masked and other conditions.
