GerberMagTM II is a flexible magnetic material with a white matt surface.
It has 12 magnetic poles per inch and has been custom formulated for use with the Gerber Digital Colour Printing and Cutting Systems, GerberColorTM foils and Gerber vinyl.
It is ideal for the production of magnetic decals, displays, point of purchase signage, advertising speciality items and all types of graphics applied to most stationary metal surfaces.
Not intended for vehicle applications, please use Gerber AutoMagTM II.
|Interior or Exterior use||
|Minimal Temperature Resistance||10.0 °C|
|Maximal Temperature Resistance||35.0 °C|

|Shelf Life||1 year (<23oC / 50% RH)|
|Durability (range)||up to 5 years|
Recommended working environment is as follows:
- Operating temperature: 10°C to 35°C
- Recommended temperature for assured printing accuracy: 20°C to 26°C
- Operating humidity: 20% to 90% relative humidity, non-condensing (maximum range, actual range varies by material used)
As with any magnet, Gerber magnetic films will likely erase discs or software with which they come into contact. These items should be kept at least one foot away from the magnetic films.
We recommend removing the substrate weekly for cleaning under the surface to prevent dirt and dust build up.
Printing should only be done on the semi-gloss white side of the Gerber magnetic films.
Do not leave your machines unattended when running these materials. Due to their extreme weight, run lengths should be kept to 2 metres or less. Run lengths greater than 2 metres could cause the bail arms to lift and registration could be compromised. A tension roll holder should be used to feed the material through your output device.
Since this is a magnetic material, the faceplates on the EDGE Series thermal transfer printing systems and any plotters should be covered with a non-magnetic material such as foam, plastic, etc.
