ImagePerfect™ 2701 Perforated Window Film
Perforated Advertising Film For Shop Application_Windows, 60% Printable Surface With 1.5mm Holes
ImagePerfect™ 2701 Perforated Window Film is a white calendered vinyl with a black base ideal for creating eye-catching graphics on transparent substrates without blocking the view from within. It has 60% printable surface with 1.5mm holes.
After printing, this vinyl has two aspects: the printed object is only visible on the front side, while the back seems clear (thanks to the perforation).
IP 2701 Window Film is suitable for shop windows and panes for which no operating license is required.
For optimum transparency, we nevertheless recommend using IP 2803 laminate to prevent the small perforations from becoming blocked.
IP 2701 is suitable for use with eco-solvent, solvent and latex inks. UV-cured inks can be used but have a tendency to block the small perforations. This product is also available with a removable adhesive as IP 2701R

The laminate should overlap the PWF by 5mm and then there should be a 1mm gap between the edge of the laminate and the edge of the window, (a 6mm gap in total between the edge of the PWF and the edge of the window).
The 5mm overlap on the PWF is required to give the laminate/PWF construction more process security and resistance to high-pressure washing systems.
The 1mm gap between the edge of the laminate and the edge of the window is required to ensure that there is no physical contact between the laminate and the rubber seal that would invariably be present in the window and which would encourage plasticiser migration.
