3M VHB RP45 has extraordinary strength, conformability, versatility, UV and weather resistance and is great for bonding a variety of substrates including many metal, plastic and painted materials.The closed-cell acrylic foam carrier makes the tape extremely conformable.
The composition of 3M™ VHB™ RP tapes resists UV and weather damage, making it a great solution for outdoor applications Unlike screws or rivets, which join materials at a single point; high-strength bonding tape permanently adheres one substrate to another while spreading the stress load across the entire length of the joint. Once materials are joined with 3M VHB™ RP Tape a virtually indestructible "weld" is created. Skyscrapers, mobile phones, fridges... all rely on high-strength bonding tape to complete one or more steps in the assembly process.
