Printable White Flex for Nylon
ImagePerfect™ 2914 is a thin, white gloss, printable Flex material that has been specifically designed for application to water-repellent surfaces such as nylon. It allows for excellent printability and high levels of washability.
The polyester backing allows for the printing of small text and contour cutting of small shapes is possible.
This product is printable with eco solvent, solvent and latex inks.
IP 2914 can be used for applying promotional text, corporate logos and graphic designs, etc, to a broad range of substrates that are otherwise difficult to work with - e.g. polyamide, nylon, leather, silicon-treated garments. As such, suitable items for application would include sportswear, sports bags, umberellas and other water-repellent substrates.

Print the graphic with the right side facing up (do not reverse print).
Contour cut the image at reduced plotter speed.
After weeding, apply an application tape (we recommend clear IP PrintFlex Tape for heat transfer). Place the graphic on the fabric and transfer using a heat press. We recommend 165°C for about 12 - 14 seconds (Nylon).
Always use a Teflon sheet or a layer of silicone paper to prevent the graphic from sticking to the upper plate of the heat press. Be sure to perform a test when using application tapes not recommended by Spandex.
Remove the application tape while the material is still warm as it will peel off better before it has cooled off completely.
IP 2914 is only suitable for printing. Washability up to 30°C (inside out) - do not tumble dry or dry clean - and iron inside out.
Due to the numerous factors associated with the manufacturing and handling of the heat transfer film, the physical properties of the fabric, as well as varying washing and cleaning conditions, product liability only extends to the unprinted material. Additionally, due to the diverse nature of base materials available in the market, the heat transfer information is issued as a guideline only.
