ImagePerfect™ 2703 Perforated Window Film
50% printable surface with 1.5mm holes, Removable
ImagePerfect™ 2703 Perforated Window Film is a white calendered vinyl with a black acrylic adhesive for clear substrates.
After printing, this vinyl has two aspects: the printed object is only visible on the front side, while the back seems clear (thanks to the perforation).
The film's vinyl covers 50% of the application area and contains 1.5mm holes.
IP 2703 Window Film is chiefly used for commercial vehicle applications that require an operating license in which case it must always be laminated with IP 2803-100 only.
IP 2703 features a black acrylic adhesive that allows for the removal of the graphic for up to one year after application.
With its ultra-white surface, IP 2703 is designed specifically for use on solvent-based inkjets however it is also suitable for use with latex inks but not UV-cured which have a tendency to block the small perforations.
It is intended for application to the exterior (first) surface of glass windows for advertising and decorative displays while allowing an unobstructed view through the reverse side of the graphic.
For the most effective performance in wet conditions and any vehicle application, such as public transport, overlaminating with IP 2830-100 is recommended.

The laminate should overlap the PWF by 5mm and then there should be a 1mm gap between the edge of the laminate and the edge of the window, (a 6mm gap in total between the edge of the PWF and the edge of the window).
The 5mm overlap on the PWF is required to give the laminate/PWF construction more process security and resistance to high-pressure washing systems.
The 1mm gap between the edge of the laminate and the edge of the window is required to ensure that there is no physical contact between the laminate and the rubber seal that would invariably be present in the window and which would encourage plasticiser migration.
