Supergrip Polymeric Vinyl, White Gloss, Permanent
ImagePerfectTM IP 2532 is a white gloss PVC that has been specifically engineered to adhere to low-energy surfaces and substrates with a low surface temperature and which allows for high levels of printing output.
It is intended for digital printing on large-format inkjets and is suitable for printing with eco solvent and solvent inks as well as latex and UV-cured inks.
IP 2532 has been specifically engineered to adhere to low-energy surfaces on which it is generally difficult to create an adhesive bond with the product - e.g. hard plastics, water-based car paints, etc. Additionally, it is also effective in application to substrates with a low surface temperature.
The product is available for digital conversion and for Gerber Edge conversion, to which end, in order to facilitate its conversion on the Gerber Edge, the 381mm product is edge-stripped across the sprocket holes so that the adhesive does not block the sprocket pins.
Conversion of these products on the Gerber Edge will allow for the creation of solutions to problematic labelling requirements - e.g. labelling for surf boards, motocross bikes, quad bikes, polyamide structures/walls (for instance, in ice hockey stadiums), powder-coated metal substrates, etc.
Please Note: In order to achieve a full adhesive bond with the substrate, the product should be applied at a temperature of no less than +5 C (otherwise any moisture present will potentially inhibit the adhesive bond).
Laminate: IP 2810-101, IP 2810-200, IP 2830-101, IP 2830-102 or IP 2830-200.
